about

I was thinking what it must be like to live in the oppressed, war torn, struggling areas of the world. The conditions are so bad, and there is so little relief, how could it not produce extreme and violent worldviews? With larger countries attempting to help, but often times creating more violence, its hard to stay positive. The world-community is focused on the wrong thing: fortune. We can't continue to live like kings while the rest of the world bleeds to death. I suppose to me it doesn't look like it will get any better, so I'll try to stay positive as we "burn up the clouds".

lyrics

i tried to walk
and pace myself
but now im good and angry
i’m off the shelf

we’re coming for you
you best watch out
i’m bringing my friends
and they’re freaking out

when blood and fortune
go one on one
the fight is brutal
its to the bone

i’m rolling over
up in this grave
you said its over
but you misbehaved

wont you come and take this up?
bring your guns and bring your stuff
we’re blowing up the things they love
while sleeping on a bed of skulls

you could be the one to save us
you could be the one that takes us away
you could be the one that gets us
you could be the one that ends all our days

I’ll just be getting my tan on
as we burn up the clouds
and I’ll ride this ship to the bottom
theres no escape now
